Volunteer Orientation

Are you passionate about serving your community? Interested in working with youth and young adults? Enjoy engaging and hands-on experiences?

Volunteer with Minority Recovery Collective Inc. to help youth (grades 6-12) and young adults (ages 18-29) recover and stay well! As a volunteer, you play an important role in the daily activities, programs and behind the scenes work at MRCI. Your involvement with the MRCI can be a rewarding, helpful and a fun experience working with staff, other volunteers, MRCI clients and community members.

Our next orientation will be held on Saturday, January 18 from 11:00PM to 3PM, and will be presented by our CEO / Founder, Natasha Cheatham. This orientation is required for all current and new MRCI Volunteers. Others wish to volunteer at MRCI are also welcome to participate in this training. Registration is required and the training is limited to 20 participants.

requirements:

  • Must complete an online application

  • Must be at least 16 years of age to join us

  • Must attend a mandatory volunteer orientation prior to starting volunteer shifts

  • Must complete a background check if you are 18 years of age or older
